IU sheds tears talking about SPICA’s Kim Boa on ‘Strong Heart’

Singer IU grew emotional on a recent episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ while talking about SPICAmember Kim Boa.

On the May 22nd broadcast of ‘Strong Heart’ guest IU stated, “I first met [Boa] when I became a trainee at the age of 15. I thought she had the most ideal voice for a vocalist, and she gave me a lot of help. She’s like my Savior.”

“I never really cry,” she continued. “When I receive awards or win K-Chart wins, I don’t usually shed tears but I cried watching SPICA’s debut performance.”

“The reason why I became close with Boa unni was because we both couldn’t dance when we were trainees,” she explained. “When others were practicing difficult choreographies, we only did the basic moves. But seeing unni debut in a dance group and dancing as well as the other members made me feel so proud.”

“Please don’t edit Boa unni’s part of the show today,” she requested. “I’m so moved that I am able to feature in a great SBS variety show with the unni I endured difficult times with.”

IU then shed a few tears, embracing Kim Boa with a warm hug

2NE1 member and leading fashion icon Sandara Park revealed a new fad: the doughnut bracelet.

On May 22nd, Sandara Park uploaded the photo above on her me2day and wrote, “Daebak! The newest fashion item that Dara recommends for this summer! Ta-da!!!!!!!! It’s a ‘doughnut bracelet’.”

She added, “Especially good for those like me who have low energy and low sugar levels. You can eat it anytime you’re tired while rehearsing… kekeke. Even if you’re having a bad fashion day, you can become a fashion king with this doughnut bracelet!”

The doughnut bracelet seems to be causing a comment frenzy amongst her fans. Some wrote, “I like your bracelet, but I want your hat too!”,”A perfect accessory to eat on the way to work“, and “How did your hands fit in that?”

U-KISS’ Dongho graces the cover of ‘MAXIM’ magazine

U-KISS member Dongho has shaken off his youthful image and transformed into a more rugged and mature man.

Dongho recently became the first male idol to grace the cover of MAXIM magazine, posing for the June publication. He got in character for his role in the made for TV movie ‘Holyland‘.

With his fierce gaze and both his hands covered in cuts and bandages, Dongho was able to prove that he’s definitely growing up and he’s no longer that young child that first debuted with U-KISS.

His fans who came across the magazine seemed to approve of this new look as they wrote, “Never thought the cute Dongho could look so hot“, “Amazing that he is the first male idol to be on the cover“, and more.

Bora (SISTAR),Amber (Fx),and Sunny (SNSD) take a selca

SISTAR‘s Bora recently uploaded a picture with Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny and f(x)‘s Amber.

On May 22nd, Bora tweeted, “I found my long forgotten family! My ‘Invincible Youth’ family. Soon Gyu, and Eun Young“, along with the picture above.

Amber emphasizes her playful characteristics as she sticks her tongue out while Sunny and Bora are both pouting at the camera.

All three girls were at MBC‘s ‘Korean Music Wave in Google‘ concert last night and the girls developed their friendship while appearing on KBS2 ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, but Amber recently stepped down from her place on the show in April.
